Create your workspace

A workspace is where your team's feedback, opportunities, solutions and settings live. Everything in CustomerSaid happens inside one, and each has its own address of the form /w/your-workspace.

Create a workspace

1. Go to the sign-up page and create your account, or sign in if you already have one.
2. After signing in you land on the onboarding page. Enter a name for your workspace. It must be between 2 and 80 characters.
3. Select the button to create it.

CustomerSaid creates the workspace, makes you its Owner, sets up billing, and opens the dashboard.

What you get on day one

• An Owner role for you. Owners have every permission, including billing and deleting the workspace.
• A welcome credit of $2. AI features such as understanding feedback and the Analyst use prepaid credits. The welcome credit expires after 30 days, so try the product soon. See AI credits and usage.
• Four starter roles. Owner, Admin, Member and Viewer are created for you. See Roles and permissions.
• A setup checklist on the dashboard that walks you through the first steps.

Your workspace address

The address is built from your name plus a short random suffix, and it is unique across CustomerSaid. You can rename the workspace later in Settings › General, but the address stays the same.

More than one workspace

You can create more than one workspace, up to five per hour. If you belong to several, CustomerSaid asks which to open after you sign in. If you belong to only one, it opens that one automatically. Switch workspaces from the workspace menu in the sidebar.

Tips

• Pick a name your whole team will recognize, such as your company or product name.
• Create the workspace yourself before inviting others. Invitations are sent from inside the workspace.
• The public demo workspace is read-only and meant for browsing. Create your own workspace to capture and review real feedback.

Troubleshooting

I am sent back to the sign-in page. You need to be signed in to create a workspace. Sign in, and you will return to onboarding.

I already have a workspace and cannot find the create form. Signed-in users with a workspace go straight to their dashboard. Use the workspace menu to create another one.
