What is CustomerSaid

CustomerSaid is a product intelligence workspace for B2B software teams. It collects what customers say, keeps it in their own words, and helps you decide what to build next with evidence you can point to.
The idea in one loop
Customer feedback arrives in many places: support tickets, sales calls, Slack threads, emails and review sites. CustomerSaid brings it into one place and turns it into a ranked list of customer problems.
- Capture. Feedback comes in by hand, by CSV, by email forwarding, from tools such as Slack, Intercom, Zendesk and Gong, or from public review sites.
- Understand. AI reads each item and pulls out individual signals: a pain, a request or a churn risk. Praise, questions and observations are kept too, but they do not create work.
- Review. AI suggests where each signal belongs. You accept, reject or redirect the suggestion. Nothing uncertain is linked without a person.
- Prioritize. Related signals form an opportunity: one customer problem, backed by quotes, companies and revenue. Each opportunity gets a transparent priority score.
- Decide and deliver. You plan solutions against opportunities and record why you chose them.
- Close the loop. When a solution is planned or released, you see exactly which customers asked for it, so you can tell them.
What makes it different
- Evidence first. Every opportunity links back to the original customer quote. Citations are exact, not paraphrased.
- Humans stay in charge. AI proposes. You decide. You can turn on automatic linking for high-confidence matches, but it is off by default.
- Problems and solutions are separate. An opportunity describes demand. A solution is one way to address it. Shipping a solution does not quietly hide the demand.
- Ask questions in plain language. The Analyst answers questions about your evidence and cites its sources.
Who uses it
Product managers, support and customer success teams, sales, marketing and founders. Everyone works from the same quotes, companies and priority factors. Roles control who can capture, review, decide or change settings.
What it is not
- It is not a public voting portal, changelog or customer wish list.
- It is not an issue tracker. You can link Linear or Jira issues to a solution, but the work itself lives in your tracker.
- It does not read a whole mailbox or every Slack message. Slack and Intercom are sent from by a person; email works through forwarding.
- It is not SOC 2 certified.
Where to start
Create a workspace, invite your team and bring in a first piece of feedback. The articles in this collection walk through each step.
Still stuck?
Ask the Analyst inside the app. It answers from your own evidence and from these guides.
