Public review sites

Written by the CustomerSaid team · Updated Oct 14, 2026 · 2 min read

Public reviews are unprompted, honest feedback. CustomerSaid can watch your listings on eight review sites and bring new reviews into your inbox, so they are analyzed like everything else.

Supported sites

G2, Capterra, GetApp, Trustpilot, Product Hunt, AppSumo, Google Play and the App Store.

Who can do this: an Owner or Admin with the integrations permission.

Connect a listing

  1. Open Settings › Billing and make sure your plan includes a review listing slot for that site. Review listings are bought per site and per listing.
  2. Open Settings › Integrations.
  3. Choose the site and paste the public URL of your listing, for example your G2 reviews page or your App Store page.
  4. Connect.

Connecting a listing needs an active subscription, because each listing uses one of your paid slots. Without a slot, or without an active subscription, you will be asked to add one first.

What is captured

The newest reviews, with the star rating, the review text, the reviewer's name and the date. Right after you connect, one page is fetched. After that, CustomerSaid checks again roughly every six hours. A review already imported is not imported twice.

Vendor replies are not captured as separate items. Each sync reads one page, not your whole catalog. For app stores, each country is its own listing; the App Store country comes from the URL.

Manage and disconnect

To remove a listing, disconnect it. The slot stays paid until you lower the allowance on the billing page. You cannot lower the allowance below the number of connected listings. Canceling the subscription removes the connections.

Good to know

  • Reviews are public information, but treat the names as personal data in your own processes.
  • A blocked or redesigned page produces an error rather than silently missing reviews.

Troubleshooting

A listing shows an error. The site may have changed or blocked access. Retries are spaced out. Try again later, or reconnect with the exact public URL.

I cannot connect another listing. All your slots for that site are in use. Increase the allowance in Settings › Billing.
